Overview
Northwest Mississippi Community College initially began in 1915 as the Tate County Agricultural High School. It was established in the year 1928 as a 2-year public community college in north Mississippi. More than 7,000 combined students are enrolled at the 3 campuses of this college:
- DeSoto Center in Southaven
- Lafayette Yalobusha Center in Oxford
- Senatobia campus
Northwest Mississippi Community College offers associates degrees in arts and applied science and certificate programs in various areas of study.
