Overview

Northwest Shoals Community College, also nicknamed NSCC, is a public, two-year community college of higher education. NSCC is located in Phil Campbell, Alabama and Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Its Muscle Shoals campus sits on over 100 acres and its Phil Campbell campus covers an area of nearly 100 acres. The college recently recorded an enrollment of over 5,000 students. The college grants associate’s degree in Arts, Science, Applied Science, and Occupational Technology. It also confers certificates in various areas of study.

NSCC’s student body is diverse and it also possesses a prominent athletics department. The sports teams participate in various games which include baseball, basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, and golf.
