Overview

Northwestern Oklahoma State University, also known as NWOSU, is a public university located in Alva, Oklahoma, United States. It was established in 1897 as a normal school. The university operates satellite campuses in Enid and Woodward. NWOSU offers both bachelor and master degrees in diverse areas of study. The university is organized into the following academic divisions:

Northwestern Oklahoma State University has an active student life. The campus is home to a wide variety of clubs and organizations. Their official mascot is the Rangers.
