Overview

Norwalk Community College was formed when Norwalk State Technical College and Norwalk Community College merged in 1992. The college occupies a 30-acre campus and includes two buildings. A branch campus is situated at the Rippowam Center in Stamford. NCC also provides online education and a satellite program in Nursing at the Gateway Community College in New Haven, Connecticut.

NCC offers over 20 certificate programs and more than 40 associate degrees in Science, Applied Science and the Arts. The William H. Schwab Center for Information Technology prepares students for careers in advanced technology. Famous alumni include MLB pitcher Erik Bedard and Michael Fedele, Connecticut’s lieutenant governor.
