Oglethorpe University is a private liberal arts college located in Atlanta, Georgia. The university was established in 1835 and its campus today spreads across 100 acres. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in diverse areas of study. In addition, the university also offers certificate programs and honors programs in several subjects.

Oglethorpe University has an active Greek life, with Chi Phi, Delta Sigma Phi and Sigma Sigma Sigma all running chapters here. The university also publishes ‘The Stormy Petrel,’ which is a student newspaper.
