Ohio Christian University, OCU, is a private career-focused baccalaureate college in Circleville, Ohio that was founded in 1948 as the Mount of Praise Bible College with the objective of training ministers for the Churches of Christ in Christian Union. It was later renamed Circleville Bible College before finally becoming Ohio Christian University in 2006. The university remains affiliated with the Churches of Christ in Christian Nation.
The campus of Ohio Christian University is based in a rural area. The Case Clock Tower, which is located at the center of the campus, was named after the head of the bible and theology department David A. Case. Students are offered associate's and bachelor's degrees in arts. Online degree programs, as well as a degree completion programs for adults are also available.
OCU's athletic teams, which are called The Trailblazers, participate in the Mid-East Region of National Christian College Athletic Association in baseball, golf, basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer.
