Overview
The Newark campus of Ohio State University, established in 1957 as the first regional campus, is located in Newark, Ohio. The OSU Newark campus, which partnered with the Central Ohio Technical College in 1971, is spread across 155 acres. The Newark campus of Ohio State University offers degrees in the fields of psychology, general business, English, history, and early/ middle childhood education.
The sports teams of the Newark campus, which compete in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference, participate in soccer, basketball, baseball, golf, volleyball, and softball. The students are represented by the Student Government of Newark Campus. The students are also active in the Student Cultural Council, the Collectible Card Club, Phi Theta Kappa, The Buckeye Business Club, and the Forensic Science Club.
