Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, also referred to as OCTech, is located in Orangeburg, South Carolina, United States. It was founded in the year 1968 and was originally known as the Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical Education Center. OCTech is one of the campuses under the South Carolina Technical College System. It offers students degrees, diplomas, and certificate programs in the academic areas of arts, communication, business, computer and information technology, health sciences, nursing, public and human services, and industrial technology, among others.
A large number of student clubs and organizations are available in Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. These include the societies of Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Beta Lambda, Future Practical Nurses’ Club, Campus Crusades for Christ, Society for Future Radiologic Technologists, and Students in Free Enterprise.
