Overview

Oregon Coast Community College, OCCC, is located in Newport, Oregon. OCCC, which was founded in 1987 by Lincoln County voters, offers an Aquarium Science program as well as the Associate of Arts Transfer Degree, the Associate of General Studies (AGS), The Oregon Transfer Module (OTM), the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing, the Associate of Science Oregon Transfer Business Degree, the Employment Skills Training Certificate, and the Retail Management Certificate. OCCC’s campus is situated on more than 25 acres.

The students of Oregon Coast Community College are involved in various organizations like the ASG Associated Student Government, PTK: Phi Theta Kappa, OCCCSNO: OCCC's Student Nurses Organization, and Aquanauts.

OCCC offers 3 types of grants to eligible students: Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, and Oregon Opportunity Grants. It also provides PLUS loans, Stafford loans, and Perkins loan to deserving candidates.
