Oregon Coast Community College, also known as OCCC, was established in 1987 by Lincoln County Voters. The main center of the college is located in Newport, Oregon. There are two more centers – one in Lincoln City and the other in Waldport. The institution offers certificates and degrees in a wide variety of subjects, which include nursing, aquarium science, business, and retail management.
Apart from academics, the students are also involved in various clubs and organizations including Phi Theta Kappa, Aquanuts Club, Associated Student Government of Oregon Coast Community College, and Oregon Coast Community College Student Nurses Organization. The students in Oregon Coast Community College are offered career planning services as well. The students are individually assisted regarding program making and career decision making.
