The Oregon College of Art & Craft, was founded as the Arts and Crafts Society in 1907 by Julia Hoffman. It was formerly known as the Oregon School of Arts & Crafts. It is situated on a 9.5-acre campus in Portland, Oregon.
The Oregon College of Art & Craft awards bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fine arts. A number of certificate and post baccalaureate programs are also available. Students can choose from courses in book arts, drawing and painting, ceramics, fiber art and photography, among others.
The Oregon College of Art & Craft publishes a bi-annual newsletter called “The Imprint.” The school’s Student Resource Center helps students find available job opportunities, art program scholarships, summer workshops and work-study positions. Extensive financial aid is also provided to eligible students in the form of State and Federal grants and OCAC grants and scholarships.
