Ottawa University was officially established in 1865. The residential campus of Ottawa University is located in Kansas. However, classes are also held in campuses across Arizona, Wisconsin and Indiana. The university is a private, not-for-profit, educational institution offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in areas like music, sociology, psychology, business administration and history.

The students at Ottawa University are involved in a variety of clubs and organizations, including The Whole Earth Club, Christian Faith in Action, the National Scholastic Societies, Champions of Character and the Anthropology Club. Room and Board

Ottawa University provides on-campus housing for 386 of its 499 (full-time) students (as of 2009-2010). The school requires freshmen to live on campus.

Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference for major sports.
