Ozarka College was established in 1975. It is a two-year public college located in Melbourne, Arkansas. The institution was previously known as Ozarka Vocational-Technical School and Ozarka Technical College. In 1999, the school’s name was changed to Ozarka College. The college offers a number of associate's degrees in arts and applied science. It also provides several certificate programs.
Ozarka College has an active student life. The campus is home to a number of student-run clubs and organizations, including the American Association for Medical Transcription, the Arkansas Licensed Practical Nurses Association, the Student Arkansas Education Association and Baptist Collegiate Ministry, among others. Phi Beta Lambda and Phi Theta Kappa are some of the school’s geek organization.
