Overview

Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, PCOM, is a private college with a campus in San Diego, California. Two other campuses are located in Chicago, Illinois and New York, New York. The college was established in San Diego in 1986.

PCOM is approved to grant the Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the Master of Science (traditional oriental medicine), the Bachelor of Health Science (Asian holistic health & massage), and the Associate of Applied Science (holistic health science). In addition, it provides tui na certificates, massage therapist/Asian bodywork certificates, and massage technician certificates.

Students of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine can become members of the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Organization and the Massage and Body Work Organizations. The on campus library has a collection of more than 17,500 research papers, journals, books, and anatomical models.
