Overview

Pacific School Of Religion, PSR, is a private, ecumenical seminary offering programs of over 3-years duration. Situated in Berkeley, California, the school was founded as the Pacific Theological Seminary in 1866. It originally moved to Oakland, and was shifted to Berkeley in 1901. PSR joined as a member of San Francisco Bay Area and Graduate Theological Union in 1964. The college offers degree programs in Master of Theological Studies, Master of Divinity, Joint Master of Art/Master of Divinity, Master of Arts (with Graduate Theological Union), and Doctor of Ministry.
