Peace College is a small liberal arts college located in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. It was established in 1857 as Peace Institute by First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh. The institute is for women and has a student body of over 650. Peace College offers bachelor’s degrees in areas including biology, communication, history, human resources, liberal studies, psychology and music performance. Minors are offered by the college are in areas including chemistry, theater, information systems and services, business administration, visual communication and religion.
There are 30 student-run organizations and clubs in the college such as College Republicans, College Democrats, Psychology Club, Peace College Theater, Peace Student Christian Association and Spectrum. There are also three student-run publications such as "The Prism", "The Peace Times" and "The Lotus".
