Overview
Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, "PAFA", is the oldest art museum and school in United States. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it was founded in 1805 by a group of artists and businessmen, including Charles Willson Peale and William Rush. The present museum building was opened to the public in 1876. The institute provides a number of undergraduate degree and diploma courses in various fields of fine arts.
