Overview

The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine was set up by a grant from the M. S. Hershey Foundation in 1966. Also abbreviated as PSU College of Medicine, it has a 550 acre campus located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The College of Medicine offers degree programs in biochemistry, anatomy, molecular biology, cell and molecular biology, and bioengineering. It also offers postdoctoral programs in Laboratory Animal Medicine and Health Evaluation Sciences.

The College of Medicine has an Office of Graduate Student Affairs which plays an important role in enhancing the quality of education and coordinating between the student organizations and faculty. The college also has a 30000 square feet University Fitness Center which provides gymnasium, squash court, aerobics and other fitness facilities for the students.
