Overview
Penn State Lehigh Valley was established in 1912 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It offered the first associate degrees in 1951 in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology. It moved to its present campus in 1977. The university campus is spread across an area of around 40 acres in Fogelsville, Pennsylvania. The land was donated by Mohr Orchards. The university adopted its current name in the 1990s. It also has a Corporate Learning Center located in Bethlehem. Penn State Lehigh Valley offers a wide variety of baccalaureate and associate’s degrees in diverse areas of study.
The university is home to many student clubs and organizations such as the Blue and White Society, Buzz Club, Community Service Club, Magic Club, Habitat for Humanity, PsiChi, Veterans Club, and International Club.
Penn State Lehigh Valley provides several scholarship programs including the Bayard D. and Ethel M. Kunkle Scholarship, Lehigh Valley Alumni Scholarship, Eugene R. and Sandra A. Slaski Scholarship, and many more.
