Overview

The Pennsylvania State University, Greater Alleghany Campus was established in 1952 and was formerly known as Penn State McKeesport. Also abbreviated as PSU, the university has campuses in 19 locations throughout the state such as New Kensington, Harrisburg, Shenango, Hazleton and Worthington. The PSU main campus is located at University park, Pennsylvania.

The PSU Greater Alleghany Campus offers the students with bachelor’s as well as associate’s degrees in wide range of courses such as business, communications, psychology and nanofabrication manufacturing technology. The college also offers the option of undergraduate research programs to the students. PSU Greater Alleghany Campus has continuing education and international programs for the students as well.

PSU Greater Alleghany Campus has a vibrant student life comprising of various clubs and organizations such as drama club, psychology club and information technology organization. The college also has its literary magazine, the Absence and has a radio channel known as WMKP radio.
