Overview

Penn State Mont Alto was originally established as the Pennsylvania State Forest Academy in 1903. It became the Commonwealth Campus of the Pennsylvania State University in 1963. The campus of Penn State Mont Alto is spread across an area of more than 90 acres in Mont Alto, Pennsylvania.

Penn State Mont Alto offers a number of bachelor’s and associate’s degrees. Apart from these, a number of certificate programs, continuing education courses and international programs are also provided by the university. The university is divided into the following academic divisions:
