Overview

Penn State Schuylkill was established as the Pottsville Undergraduate Center in 1934. Its campus is spread across an area of 70 acres in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, and is controlled by the Pennsylvania State University. It merged with Penn State Harrisburg in 1996.

Penn State Schuylkill currently awards various associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. Master’s degrees are awarded in the field of education. Several minor degree programs and certification courses are provided.

Penn State Schuylkill is home to more than 25 student clubs and organizations, including the Adult Student Organization, the Caribbean Cultural Organization, the Library Student Advisory Board, the Pre-Health Professional Organization and the Religious and Philosophical Forum, among others.
