Overview

The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, also known as PCOM, is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established on January 24, 1899, as the Philadelphia College and Infirmary of Osteopathy, or PCIO. It became Philadelphia College of Osteopathy in May 1921. The college adopted its current name in May 1967. The college moved to its present location in 1973. The college also has a branch campus in Atlanta, Georgia. PCOM offers a number of graduate-level degrees.

The students of PCOM are involved many on-campus clubs and organizations including the American Holistic Medicine Association, Sigma Sigma Phi Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity, Christian Medical Association, Student Osteopathic Medical Association, Jewish Medical Association, Psychology Club, Clinical Neuroscience Society, and Surgery Club.
