Overview

Piedmont College is a private, liberal arts college located in Demorest and Athens, Georgia, United States. It was established on September 1, 1897. The college offers more than 35 undergraduate degree programs and graduate degree programs. The campus spreads across an area of 300 acres. Piedmont College is organized into the following academic schools.

Some of the notable alumni of Piedmont College are Johnny "Big Cat" Mize, baseball Hall of Famer; Jonathan Clark Rogers, President of the University of Georgia; and Phillip M. Landrum, U.S. Congressman. The athletic teams of Piedmont College are nicknamed the Lions.
