Overview

Piedmont Community College is a coeducational, public, community college located in Roxboro, North Carolina, United States. It was founded on July 1, 1970, under the name of Person Technical Institute. In May 1971, it was renamed Piedmont Technical Institute. On January 1, 1988, the Board of Trustees finally changed the name to Piedmont Community College. It grants admission to nearly 8,500 students every year, on average.
