Overview

Piedmont Technical College, also known as PTC, is located in Greenwood, South Carolina, United State. It was established in the year 1966 and is a unit of the South Carolina Technical College System. The college operates centers in Abbeville, Edgefield, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda. PTC enrolls more than 5,000 students annually. The college offers more than 80 academic programs in several areas of study.

Student life at PTC is active and vibrant. The campus is home to several student clubs and organizations including the BCT-4-Life Club, Christian Students Union, Computer Club, Psychology Club, Sigma Chi Beta Club, and the Public Service Club. The student body at PTC includes an impressive number of international students.
