Overview
Piedmont Virginia Community College, also known as PVCC, is a two-year, community college located in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. It was chartered in 1972. The college offers more than 25 Associate Degrees in Arts, Sciences, and Applied Sciences. It also awards over 15 other certificate degrees. More than 450 students transfer annually from PVCC to a four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor degree.
PVCC’s student life is active. The campus is home to several student clubs and organizations including the Art Club, Dance Club, Spanish Club, and Engineering Club.
