Overview
The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, also known as PIA, is located in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. This premier aviation school was established in 1929. PIA grants associate’s degrees in specialized technology in subjects like mechanical systems technology, aviation maintenance technology and aviation electronics technology, to name a few. Students who wish to earn a diploma in aviation can attend the school’s Vienna, Ohio campus. The institute also offers short-term programs, known as PIA Jump Start, in areas like truck driving and heavy equipment operation.
The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics offers needy and qualified students financial assistance in the form of federal grants, loans and scholarships.
