The Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The college was formed by the consolidation of the Pittsburgh Xenia Theological Seminary and the Western Theological Seminary in 1959. Commonly abbreviated as PTS, the college offers religious education for prospective clergy. The college offers its students master’s and doctoral degree programs in areas like divinity, ministry, sacred theology, philosophy and arts. The college offers dual degree programs as well. Continuing education programs are also offered at the college.
Students at PTS have the opportunity to participate in a number of clubs and organizations including the Association of Women at the Seminary, the African American Student Fellowship and the Evangelical Student Fellowship.
