Polytechnic University

Polytechnic University, also known as NYU-Poly, was established in Brooklyn, New York, in 1854. It is counted among the finest resources in science, research, technology, and management education. In addition to its main campus at MetroTech Center in Brooklyn, Polytechnic University also offers courses at various sites across the region. These include graduate centers at Manhattan, Long Island, and Westchester. NYU-Poly also offers a number of programs in Israel.

NYU-Poly awards bachelor and master degrees in science, master degrees in engineering, and a doctorate of philosophy degree across a wide range of programs. Its students come from about thirty states and fifty foreign countries. This makes NYU-Poly one of the most diverse campuses in the nation. Its distinguished alumni include Nobel laureates, successful entrepreneurs, world class scientists, and notable inventors.
