Overview

Prince George's Community College was established in 1958. The main campus is located in Largo, Maryland. The college has extension centers at Andrews Air Force Base, Skilled Trades Center, Laurel College Center, and University Town Center. Prince George's Community College attracts students from approximately 100 nations around the world and offers more than 200 degree and certificate programs.

Some of the academic divisions of Prince George's Community College are building maintenance engineering, child care management, business administration, computer information systems programs, and construction management. Scholarships offered by the college include Board of Trustees’ Legacy Scholarship, Honors Academy Scholarship, AOBA Scholarship, Kathy and Jerry Wood Scholarship, and The Hillman Entrepreneurs Program Scholarship.

Prince George's Community College has an active college life and several student organizations. Some of these are the Active Seniors Club, Another Galaxy Comic and Cartoon Club, Kaleidoscope Club, National Association for the Education of Young Children Student Club, French Club, and Nuclear Medicine Club.
