Overview

Princeton Theological Seminary, PTS, was established by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in 1812. It was originally known as The Theological Seminary at Princeton. The campus is spread across more than 20 acres in Princeton, New Jersey.

Princeton Theological Seminary grants the Master of Arts, Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, Doctor of Ministry, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Dual degree programs are also available in Christian education, and youth ministry. In addition, PTS provides a number of continuing education courses.

Students of Princeton Theological Seminary represent more than 40 states and 20 foreign countries. They publish an audio journal known as "Cloud of Witnesses", an online newspaper called "inSpire", and an ecumenical journal entitled "Theology Today". PTS also hosts student organizations like the Student Government, and Koinonia.
