Overview
Principia College was established in 1910, and is a four-year co-educational liberal arts school situated in Elsah, Illinois. On April 19, 1993, Principia College campus was chosen National Historic Landmark by United States Department of the Interior. The college campus is spread across an area of 2,500 acres. Principia offers B.A and B.S degrees in diverse areas of study including art history, studio art, computer science and chemistry.
Principia College is home to numerous clubs and organizations including Equestrian Club, PAC (Public Affairs Conference), Philosophy Club, and Principia Humanitarian Relief Club. The sports teams of Principia are nicknamed the Panthers and they compete in NCAA Division III in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
