Randolph College

Founded in 1891 as Randolph Macon Women's College, Randolph College was one of the top institutions in the southern US for women's higher education. The school changed its name to Randolph College in July 2007 as part of its transformation to a coeducational institution. The school notes that its residence halls are spacious and have been described by The Princeton Review publication as "palaces." The school also notes that its athletic facilities feature a world-class riding center and Bermuda-grass playing fields.

Students at Randolph have dozens of clubs and student organizations to choose from, such as the Food and Justice Club, WWRM student radio station, and Pan World Club.
