Overview

Randolph Community College, also referred to as RCC, was initially founded in 1958 as the Randolph Industrial Education Center. In 1965, it became the Randolph Technical Institute. Between 1979 and 1988, the school was known as Randolph Technical College.

Students of Randolph Community College can earn diplomas, certificates, and associate degrees. Courses are offered in the fields of business technology, developmental studies, general education, health occupations, and mechanical and industrial technology, among others.

Randolph Community College supports a large number of student clubs and organizations. Students are members of the Campus Crusaders, Common Threads, Phi Beta Lambda, Phi Theta Kappa, RCC Student Nurse Association, and Uwharrie Dreams, among others.
