Overview

Red Rocks Community College is a community college located in Lakewood, Colorado. It was founded in 1969 as a campus of the Community College of Denver. It officially became a community college with an independent campus on July 1, 1983. The college offers more than 650 courses in over 125 areas of study. RRCC’s Lakewood campus is spread across an area of more than 135 acres. The campus is home to a child care center, a cafeteria and coffee shop, a recreation center, a bookstore and a theater.

Red Rocks enrolls more than 13,000 students per year. The campus hosts several student clubs and organizations. Some of the organizations are Anime Club, Billiards Club, Campus Green Initiative, Dance Club and Community Film Society.
