Overview
Reed College is a private, liberal arts college located in southeast Portland, Oregon in the United States of America. The college was founded in 1908, and it covers an area of 116 acres. The college offers majors and interdisciplinary courses in a vast range of subjects. It also has dual degree and special programs in several subjects including applied physics and electronic science, computer science and engineering. The college enrolls an impressive number of international students as well.
Reed College has an active campus life. The college has several student clubs and organizations. Student-run organizations and clubs in Reed College include Reed Sport Club, Reed Outing Club and the Gray Fund. ‘Subprime’ is a performance and visual art festival organized by students. The students operate a Student Senate which organizes various activities in the college campus. The college also publishes a magazine known as 'Reed Magazine’.
