Overview
Regis University is a private, coeducational, Roman Catholic, Jesuit University located in Denver, Colorado, United States. It is situated against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. Regis University was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1877 as a school. It gained university status in 1991. Regis is one of 28 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. Regis University confers a variety of degrees and certificates through the following colleges:

- Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions
For the 14th consecutive year, Regis College was named a top school in the West at the Master's level by US News and World Report. It was ranked 26th. Regis College operates a radio station, KRCX. Each college under the university has its own set of student clubs and organizations.
Some notable alumni of Regis University are Bill Murray, actor; Campbell Brown, television news personality; and Edwin J. Feulner, president of The Heritage Foundation.
