Overview
Richland College, also referred to as RC, is a public, coeducational, community college located in Lake Highlands, Dallas, Texas, United States. The College was founded in 1972 and is the largest school to date in the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD). RC's campus stretches over more than 150 acres of rural land.

The sports teams of Richland College are called the Thunderducks, also referred to as T-ducks. The official mascot is the Thunderduck. The College sponsors baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Intramural sports such as flag football, basketball, golf, soccer, softball, and volleyball are also sponsored and supported.
