Overview

Richland Community College, also referred to as RCC, is located in Decatur, Illinois, United States. It was established in the year 1971. RCC's campus spreads across an area of more than 115 acres. The college offers students several degrees and certificate programs in the fields of liberal arts, nursing, business, physical sciences, and human environment, among others. The college also has provisions for online courses.

The students of Richland Community College have access to a number of on-campus clubs and organizations. These include the societies of Student Senate, Drama Club, Black Students Association, Forensics Club, and Student Activities Board. Students also publish a monthly newspaper called "The Communicatur," which serves as the ideal medium for expressing their views.
