Overview

Richmond Community College, also referred to as RCC, is located in Hamlet, North Carolina, United States. It was founded in the year 1964 as the Richmond Technical Institute. RCC received its present name in 1987. Degrees, diplomas, and certificates are offered in various areas of study including electrical electronics, infant toddler care, business administration, computer engineering, health care management, mechanical engineering, and practical nursing.

The college is home to a number of student clubs and organizations. Some of the popular ones are the Student Government Association, Campus Crusade for Christ, The Mechanical Engineering Club, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, The RCC Business Student’s Association, and the Native American Club.
