Overview
Rider University was established in 1865 as a private, nonsectarian, coeducational university in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. It offers enrollment to more than 4,000 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students every year. The total campus area of Rider University is 303 acres. The university is organized into 4 colleges:

Rider University has over ten social Greek organizations, including the fraternities of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Phi Beta Sigma, Lambda Theta Phi, Tau Kappa Epsilon and Kappa Alpha Psi; and the sororities of Alpha Xi Delta, Phi Sigma Sigma, Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Phi Epsilon, Delta Sigma Theta, Lambda Tau Omega, Lambda Theta Alpha and Zeta Phi Beta.
