Overview

Riverland Community College, also known as RCC, is a public, community college that is a part of the State Colleges and Universities System of Minnesota. RCC records an enrollment of over 4,000 students every year. It was formed as the Austin Junior College in 1940 and was given its present name in 1964. It has campuses in Albert Lea, Minnesota; Austin, Minnesota; and Owatonna, Minnesota.

RCC has an active student administration to promote the complete development of the students. The college offers various career counseling and placement opportunities for its students. RCC’s campus is home to a variety of clubs and organizations including the Student Organizations ACCENT (A Literary Magazine), the Human Services Club, the Riverland Student Organizations, and the Criminal Justice Society.
