Overview
Roane State Community College is a 2-year college situated in Harriman, Tennessee. The Tennessee General Assembly authorized the college in 1969. RSCC is run by the Tennessee Board of Regents. Roane State Community College primarily caters to students who wish to transfer to 4-year colleges or universities. In addition to the transfer programs, RSCC also offers various career training programs that lead to associate degrees or certificates.
RSCC’s athletic department has both men’s and women’s sports teams, which compete in sports like basketball, baseball and softball. They are members of the Tennessee Junior College Athletic Association. The Raider is the official mascot of Roane State Community College.
