Roanoke Bible College

Roanoke Bible College is now known as Mid-Atlantic Christian University. MACU is a private, non-profit Christian institution located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It was established in 1948. The university offers 3 baccalaureate degree programs, 2 associate degree programs and 4 certificate programs, along with distance learning opportunities.

Mid-Atlantic Christian University fields 5 varsity sports teams, which compete in the Shenandoah-Chesapeake Conference. Some of the notable alumni of MACU are C. Barry McCarty, former President of Cincinnati Christian University; and Tony Wolf, Christian comedian and speaker. Career counseling and remedial services are provided to the students at MACU, while job placement assistance is offered to recent graduates.
