Overview
Roanoke College is an independent, private, coeducational, four-year, liberal arts college located in Salem, Virginia, United States. It was established in the year 1842. The student body represents students from over 35 states in the U.S. and more than 20 countries. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.
Roanoke College has an active Greek life. The campus hosts more than eight Greek organizations. Some of them are Kappa Alpha Order, Pi Kappa Alpha, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and Delta Gamma. The campus is also home to several student clubs and organizations. Roanoke is an NCAA Division III school, and the sports teams compete in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
