Robert Morris University

Robert Morris University was established in 1921. It was named after Robert Morris, who was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. The university provides facilities for several doctoral and graduate programs and over 30 undergraduate programs. The university’s main campus is situated over an area of 230 acres. It also has a branch campus in downtown Pittsburgh. The programs are offered by the following six academic schools:

  • School of Adult and Continuing Education
  • School of Education and Social Sciences
  • School of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • School of Communications and Information Systems
  • School of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science

Robert Morris University’s sports teams are called the Colonials, and they compete in the NCAA Division I. The Colonials participate in basketball, ice hockey, bowling and football.
