Overview
Roger Williams University School of Law was established in 1993 as the first program offered by the Roger Williams University. Students are required to perform at least fifty hours of community services before they graduate in accordance with the school's philosophy that lawyers should serve their communities.
At Roger Williams University School of Law students can pursue a JD/Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice. The school organizes a multicultural mentor program in which students of color are paired with members of the bench and bar. Students can also participate in the activities of clubs and organizations like the Maritime Law Society, the Alliance (LGBT), the Women's Law Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Public Interest Law. The Docket is a newspaper bought out by students.
