Overview

Rogers State University, nicknamed RSU, is a co-educational public university that was originally founded as Eastern University Preparatory School in 1909. After various name and status changes, it was given its present name in 1996. Situated in Claremore, Oklahoma, RSU has branch campuses located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Pryor Creek, Oklahoma. The university enrolls more than 4,000 students every year of which over 50% are enrolled to attend at the main campus. RSU offers bachelor’s degrees, associate’s degree and distance learning through its e-college.

RSU possesses a prominent athletics department. The students participate in various sports and events such as men’s and women’s baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, softball, and cheerleading. Their sports teams are known as the Hillcats.
