Overview

Saddleback College, also known as Saddleback, is a community college located in Mission Viejo, California, United States. It was established in 1968 and is part of the California Community College system. Saddleback awards associate degrees and academic certificates in more than 75 areas of study. The college is governed by the Board of Trustees of the South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD).

Saddleback offers a wide variety of programs that prepare students to evaluate and understand physical, cultural, and social environments. The college is known for its science department which includes several programs in Physics, Nursing, Environmental Studies, and Chemistry.

Saddleback offers many student clubs and organizations for the overall development of its students. Some of the popular student organizations are the Chicano Latino studies student association, college democrats, class action, college republicans, and the anime club.
