Overview
Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, a co-educational, medical college located in Peoria, Illinois, was first organized as the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1905, solely for the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis. It opened its doors to lay students for the first time in 1918. The college offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the science of nursing. The college has an accelerated learning program which caters to the needs of the U.S. Cadet Corps.
